Many (most? all?) of your "facts" are mere allegations, and you will need to cite some authorities if you expect me to accept them. E.g., your "Fact 3" is of particular interest to me because I have just been reading this month's "Current Issues in Economics and Finance," available free from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which discusses why the Bureau of Economic Analysis National Income and Product Accounts numbers, upon which your conclusion presumably relies, seriously understate domestic savings.

I assume Greenspan reads this stuff. Maybe you should, too.

I imagine one could pick apart your other allegations, but without knowing from what source(s) you plucked them, it's too much bother.

JMHO.

none of this is opinion. --- Then I'd suggest there is some critical data you're overlooking. --- Hasn't it occured to you, anywhere along the line that maybe (just maybe) the whole rest of the world *isn't irrational, and there's some dynamic at work which you are *missing?? -JCJ
