Bush articulated positions closer to the mainstream a couple of nights ago.........

He sounded pretty liberal to me. It makes me wonder if his judicial appointments might not be liberal. I think he believes in his tax cut but Dick Gephard will not allow him to implement his tax cut or his Social Security Plan. The only gain to Republicans from his election will be the control of the administrative agencies like the EPA, IRS etc. He is powerless to affect education because that occurs at the local level. I do worry he will attempt to remove disabled persons from the Social Security rolls just like Regan did when he was president. I also worry that he will rollback environmental protection regulations.
