Ranter Paul,
RE:"How many of you Droids predicted that AMd's ASPS would FALL in the most recently completed quarter - Q3 2000?"

Can you show me where I predicted AMDs ASPs for Q3? Look real hard.
As a matter of fact I said AMD would have to give up a little to take market share.
Your fantasy is that you can paint every AMD shareholder with a broad brush.

Jim

Re: not a one of you was prepared for "AN AMD SURPRISE UP THEIR SLEEVE - FALLING ASPs " !!!

Well, I certainly wasn't.

What do you think happened to Intel's ASPs in the same period?

Dan

Paul,

Apparently 1GHz+ CPU's are selling pretty cheap. This should concern you, because Intel doesn't seem to be able to make anything that fast in volume.
