I sell quite a bit of flash memory every day and it seems each week the speculation is different.. First we cant get enough.. than we have too much and the prices are dropping while we hold inventory.. and it goes back and forth on a daily basis it seems.. I tried to speculate with SNDK and SSTI based on this and its failed me thus far.. Just like RMBS.. everyone in the industry that I come in contact with laughed at it, and claimed that by time people embrace the idea and prices become reasonable for the small boost in power it gives you, the technology will be obsolete.. but the stock keeps holding its own..

I guess thats why people love tech stocks, but especially the semi-sector because although its hard to predict the dramatic moves, if you catch it- the moves are violent as everyone rushes to jump onto the 'next big wave'.. I think going into the holiday seasons, SSTI and SNDK will be explosive..

I follow Zeeve Hed here on S/I quite a bit and learn from how he plays these stocks.. He lets the charts dictate what hes doing and sticks to strict stop lose rules.. This allows you to take a bigger position and profit from it, as long as you stick to the stop loses and be a man and eat crow when it goes against you.. or for the less stressfull approach just properly allocate and play like Dale does.. Find the real stories, get in, stick with them and eventually the street will pick up on it..
