Meathead. Dell will not find the future as easy as the past Margins are shrinking and the opponents have finally seen the light....they must blow their channel partners away.
Keeping the extra margin of a chennl system is what has propelled Dell so far ahead of the others.
After a while even the dumbest will get it....maybe.
That means Dell will face it's own model from several people in the marketplace.
Serverspace will not be the easy task either.
Dells servers are OK for the low end, however they are technically inferior to HP, SUN and CPQ gear and it will take them quite a while to dislodge those three from their strongholds.
True Dell has had some easy sales among those that count the $$. now those are slowing down and they will not be be able to crack solid HP, Sun or CPQ shops that easily.
So next year dell will not match this year.
