Yea, us Canuck's are more tolerant than the reactionary crowd we are hanging with. -vbg

Seriously, it looks so stupid when we have posts here that take the thread too seriously. Certain earnest posters are fond of this little corner of our virtual playground, but they should perhaps not defend it with such solemn verve.

Personally, I do not mind the banning of clowns. It's funny and I hate even skipping over their stupid musings. But when we start to get into gratuitous banning like this, well, it's just embarrassing.

It's the weekend. My son will be up soon and the sun is out for a second day in a row! This is my last post on this topic.

Earlie, lol -- yes I've got all those and more: shin pads, shoulder pads, helmet, the works ... <g>

I couldn't agree more with the points you made. "Snack on them for lunch" sums it up perfectly.

Changing subjects, all traces of fear seem to have evaporated on the bullish threads. Many are calling for a huge short-covering rally on Monday ... I think they're going to be disappointed, but you never know with this rummy market. <ng>

btw, I think Lance Lewis missed some irony in that Prudent Bear article you mentioned last night. John Crudele has been talking about the fed, moral hazard, the PPT, etc, for some time ... my guess is that he is just so exasperated with the rest of the mainstream press that he decided to do an outrageous piece to see if that would provoke any reaction.
He's not naive:

I think he was just arguing for a level playing field yesterday:

"The Fed's goal here should be singular - step in front of the troubled market so that investors know a rescue effort is in place. That's what the Fed has done in the past for several large Wall Street firms, and small investors deserve no less"

Sure would help with timing puts ... <g>
