<<Nothing you say will change the hearts and minds of the remaining gold bull believers, it's a religion, why do you persist? >>

What, you never heard about CONVERSION? People have never changed a religion? Religions which once ruled the world are now gone - forever. At times these older religions were "taken out" by a newer or more powerful religion, at times the old ways were simply forgotten. Yes, there were often crimes involved in the conversions of the masses from one religion to another. Perhaps in another 50 years our children - or our children's children - will look back at GOLD & rediscover the deeper truth & the sins committed against the believers of the old faith ,much as we have looked back to the jungles & found great cures for dread disease & now review history to decry the Spanish Inquisition.

Any who have dared believe in gold have been murdered - in the economic sense. The lesson has been repeated in a "carrot & stick" approach to learning - with each strike getting worse.

I'd never suggest anyone sell the last of their precious metals, BUT only a fool would suggest anyone should buy! Then again, when there are only a few true believers left,.....?

"Just please don't hit me any more with that damn stick, I will believe in gold no longer!"

Or are these the words that needed be spoken?

His comments have a strong streak of piety - self richeousness. I wonder if his employees share his high opinion -of himself! And belief in high tech is shaky in these times. It isn't the excellence of the tech that matters - but the value a wary market places on it.

I'm not sure what constitutes a goldbug anyway. Most people are goldbugs on this thead - those who like gold or are bugged by gold - either way gold had got them for sure. Some profess not to like gold but only post here. Figure it out? Those in the latter category call the former 'gold bugs' in a perjorative sense - feeling somewhar superior in the process.

But gold doesn't have to go up - there's lots of money to be made if it stays at this level for years. Not just the truth but reality.
