Dave, I understand how you feel. Put aside that thought for just one moment. I am looking for the quantitative decision on how these get generated. They aren't slips of paper pulled from a hat (even though they sometime appear to be, as I remember some dope making a $1000 target on some stock I can't remember right now....). Quality sell-side house analysts (oxymoron??) make these targets from some set fundamentals of the company's business translated back to the stock price. I guess I would really like to know how they do this. Just an educational issue for me. Understanding the process a little better helps me understand the credibility of the estimate. It's my scientific background <g>. Steve
