Paullie, That's why I hedge and forget. Otherwise, you can go to extreme lengths in picking apart the stock, only to see it manipulated in due time anyway. I hedge AMD with INTC and MOT with NOK.

I own AMD from a recent trade and was equally baffled on Friday. One would have expected a 20% gain. My only explanation has to do with its strength this Spring while the rest of the market sold off. If you look AMD was at 20 on 3/1. Perhaps it just took a rest. On top of that is the impression that they missed their rev number which Wall St. may be spreading and using to accumulate cheap shares as Rande pointed out.
