It is not the statistics on the graph that influence traders, but the SEC filings registering those sales. Personally, I find it more significant to discover insiders buying, because really, insiders have to sell at some point.

Yet I'm aware that too many insiders selling within a small period gives folks the impression that the insiders know something negative lies ahead. And knowing how they'll respond tells me when to let go for awhile.

Of course, were I a buy and hold investor, JDSU remains one of the better choices to ride with.
