Mike,

No additional numbers are necessary, as I understand your argument. I am not going to engage in a debate about the methodologies with you as we have beaten this argument to death in the past, but I do agree that intelligent people may differ there, and I will leave it at that. However, the key point that you make is that even when adjusted for methodologies the US has a faster growth rate than the EU.

Generally speaking, when two countries have different real growth rates, their currencies reflect that. I have been trying to convey this simple message to Heinz and Earlie for a long time, but have not succeeded so far. Can you?

Thanks,
-BGR.

Mike:

You are far too kind to BGR.

Let him look up the numbers himself instead of spoon-feeding him. (g)

Actually, I am indeed only kidding and appreciate your provision of the data.

Best, Earlie

Mike,

You are far too helpful to Earlie.

Let him look up the numbers himself instead of spoon-feeding him.

Imagine what to would to him if you and Heinz were not there to help him with data? He would then have to back up his arguments all by himself. Goodness!

:-)
