donjuan, Yes there are democrats that do all of these things, and quite often, they vote Republican, and they did in the landslide victory for Bush in Texas during his second election as Governor. Obviously, your foreign background makes you ignorant of what "passing by" means in relation to the flag. It is the phrase used to denote the flag being carried in parades, military processions, and some governmental exhibitions. Driving by in your car does not require a salute to the flag, and only you would be stupid enough to come up with such an inanity. ~H~
