Since you are again representing the Vanity Fair article as being something it may or may NOT be, I am going to do something I loathe doing- which is repost something I wrote elsewhere, because I think it's only fair.. From the Moderate Bush thread: I tried to find the article on line, and failed, but I did come across something I think important to mention in light of your advocating this article as such an important and reliable information piece in knowing the "truth" about GW. THE AUGUST ISSUE of Vanity Fair published an article purporting to show that death row inmate Mumia Abu-Jamal had "confessed" his guilt in the early 1990s in a conversation with a Pennsylvania Prison Society volunteer, one Philip Bloch. At an August 3 press conference held at the studios of WHAT, a Black radio station in Philadelphia, Mumia’s attorneys presented evidence exposing the Vanity Fair report as a fraud. You also represented Molly Ivins' SHRUB as non-political and unbiased, which anyone knowing Ivins knows is NEVER the case. IN fact, you denied that she was the author. I guess I just think all of us should read everything with a bit of caution, and accept nothing as absolute truth. Caveat lector.
