Hawaii, at the close of business on July 27, 2000, 3Com announced it had distributed all of it's 532 million shares of Palm to 3Com shareholders. 3Com shareholders were issued 1.4832 shares of Palm for each share of 3Com. Addressing another issue you have raised, and as a previous poster mentioned, "one trick ponies" such as 3com and idtc are poor analogies to mrvc. The best comparisons are the internet incubators when the internet was hot. Look at the price of sfe after igce was spun off, or the price of cmgi after the enga ipo-in both cases the parent skyrocketed. Finally, mrvc is in the right sector (see recent nt and glw announcements re demand) with cutting edge companies. On Thursday, George Gilder posted on the Gilder Technology site: "Incidentally, unlike LanOptics, which is chiefly a vessel for EZChip, mrv owns a number of technologies more interesting than its wireless optic project." Disclosure-long mrvc the past 12 months and for the near future.
