Her rival, Republican Rep. Rick Lazio, suggested Friday that either the first lady or her campaign aides had broken the law and should answer for it.

"I think that they believe there's two laws – one that applies to them, and one that applies to the rest of us," Lazio told reporters. "In this particular case, this isn't just something that is improper, this is something that is illegal."


I agree with Rick on the above. Something that I learned in the first year or two of Clinton/Gored is that whenever they are calling for some major reform in government.....you can bet that they are at that very time abusing the very thing they are saying needs reforming.

One good example of this is Clinton in his last election was calling on campaign finance reform and bashing Dole with this, all while he and Gore were taking Red Chinese money which is highly against our laws and have been for years. Their response when caught was "opps, someone made a mistake....lets give back the money and that will make it all OK."
