Ibexx,

I was reading someone who posited that when you are so far away from the MaxPain point on options ... it then becomes useless.

However, that post was before yesterdays dramatic turnaround . Look at the range on SUNW yesterday. I have been playing that one with options but even I was surprised at the move it made..its not JDSU after all ;-)

JDSU should rise above 100 based on options configurations - alone

Could you explain that in more detail? I would imagine there will be a commercial net short position on the 100-strike OCT call which should put a damper on the coming week, but ya never know...

In comparison to AMCC, jdsu is an absurd bargain. Amcc is selling at about 170x next years earnings, while Jdsu is is selling at about 75x next years earnings, while both have similar growth rates, and are closely related. Only profit margins differ much. And of course if JDSU is cheap, sdli is a out of this world. But these type of valuation parameters have never meant less. What is holding us back, when others like Cien are steamrolling ahead?
