Zeev if my wife didn't already cancel out my vote, you and I would have. I left the democratic party after having kids and finding the positions taken by the party more and more in conflict with values. But on the honeymoon thing, it seems to me the Dems controlled both houses until '94. National Health care was pursued, in secret closed door meetings, and any number of initiatives. That was largely the reason for the sudden rise of elephants in the house. 7/10 of those contract items were signed into law, by the Prez. Gingrich was successfully (which is not the same as accurately, by the way) painted in the press as a hater, but I'm a lover all the way as are all good elephants.
