Hey re Your post late last night, if You are confused with all Your experience and knowledge of how are market works, how the hell do You think most investors new to trading feel about now. Kind of like a dear looking in the headlights, 40 British on board is some serious Chit. I wish We were like the Israeli's, no negotiations with terrorists just take appropriate action ASAP.

tim be fair:) George Bush had Saddam for the taking--and he called a stop to the run to Baghdad--which george now admits was the single greatest mistake in his presidency---i remember vividly the moment i heard Bush stopped the run to Baghdad. my reaction was "Damned fool,you blew it!"---a living Saddam,would be nothing but relentless trouble.PaxMax

It was Bush senior who was president during Desert Storm. General Schwarzkopf wanted to go all the way to Baghdad, but he wasn't allowed to. There was some talk about if Iraq was made weak, then Iran would take over the area, but we may never know the real reason we didn't go and take Saddam.
