Victor. 1979 was the second oil shock -- prices tripled -- sound familiar? And gold quadrupled. In August 1982 you could not give stock away. When the rally hit, it was like a tidal wave. Since 82 gold has tasted like puke to investors. Now you cannot give it away.... there is a time and place for everything -- even a little gold. Gold tends to run counter to stocks. Good luck.
