The press has never pushed Bush hard on any personal issues. They have let him slip out and I have not seen one mainstream press article about his past peccadillos.
meanwhile plenty of coverage about how Gore exaggerates and distorts. When Bush does so equally. Bush is in for it next. His Texas record and personal history. Just watch.
The public hates arrogance. Gore was already punished for being a bit arrogant in the first debate. Now Bush is the one being arrogant trying to sound like the new commander-in-chief just because he memorized a bunch of foreign country names. Even mentioned East Timor (with a smirk). Big foreign policy expert.
