There's a book for your hypothetical world traveller...

bol.fr

An excellent book I might add.

Having worked in France for several years recently, I feel that it's significantly easier to launch an enterprise in the US than on the "old continent", other things being equal (familiarity with local culture, etc.)

There's more to life than running a business though, France does have some advantages.

Wayne,

1. USD. For the USA has the best socio-economic system (a purely subjective opinion) offered in today's world.

2. No, as long as servicing the debt is not a problem, or likely to become one.

3. Yes, very much so.

4. Yes, but that is somewhat academic, as that info is largely captured in 2.

Your turn, please?
