The clear advantage to Internet advertising is that's it's transactional...interactive. Many don't know this but promotion budgets (couponing, contests and the like) are 2x advertising.

The Internet is new ground, and the brightest creatives in advertising are focusing on it. New Media has always enjoyed sponsorship early.

I wrote alot about this topic on the Yahoo thread early on.
