ild, I suspect that the distributors are going to buy a huge amount of Intel crap for Xmas, just because they've done so every year. They won't sell it, which means next year will suck bigtime. But, even though the next number and next year will stink the house out, the distributors will ignorantly buy enough for Intel to be able to tell a whole bunch of Xmas lies after this quarter.

It is hard to say what Intel is worth. It has no growth rate any more, so you have to value it like a mature co., or, if you are being uncharitable, a declining co. The last time I looked, most slow growth mature cos. are not selling at 30 times eps.
