I would appreciate some other opinions on this so I can insure my logic isn't faulty The only fault I find is that your logic can not over come the politics of the situation. I see social security as a ponzi scheme that actually sort of does work because it is manditory and there is a long delay before people get paid (and some of the m die never having recieved anything), and because it is run by a government with the power to tax new money in to pay for old promises. However at some point it is going to have major problems like most ponzi schemes. Tim
