cummings: I had a splendid time watching college football in America's heartland and visiting with old friends from the '60s and '70s. Everyone I talked to agreed the Midwest is in a Gore lock-box. You also need to take a more "liberal" approach to life. Take the wife out to dinner occasionally. Go to a symphony or tour an art museum on a Sunday afternoon. There is still hope for you (although not much). Otherwise, if you spend too much time on this board, you will become an old fart like two-thirds of those that post here.
