David: Excellent analysis. Bush has indeed done nothing to earn anyone's support or trust. He is simply a GOP lackey beholden to the big-money interests of the Republican Party. Cheney -- one of the few congresspeople who voted in favor of the so-called "cop-killer bullets" -- earned $40 million for a few years' work based on who he knows, not what he knows. If the nation votes these stooges into the White House, twelve months from now there will be a national referendum to return the Clinton-Gore peace and prosperity team.
