Not upset - more disappointed... Unsolicited posts on competitors threads bragging about their success - especially when the competitor is down (and investors with it) borders on insighting a riot. I don't take issue with the data... I take issue with the way it was delivered.

You're right... LU has lot's of work to do. Unfortunately I'm now banking on them getting it done.

I couldn't agree more with your post. I have seen the bashing of Mr. Fun, each other and the competition. We are all adults and presumably make our own investment decisions. I have lost a large sum of money and more importantly it affects my lifestyle.

The important question as an investors is not what went wrong, but what information we missed that would have lead us to the correct decision.

Secondly, what is in store for Lucent as we go forward.

I would like to see the thread demand that the current management and the Board of Directors be held accountable for the mistakes that have been made. If the information is correct, I have read that the BOD is firmly behind Richard McGuinn. I just don't understand, based on the last few years how they can be.

Having said that, I do understand how this can be an emotional issue. Having someone come on this thread and tell the Lucent investors how well another company is doing is difficult for those of us who have lost a lot of money.

I know it won't happen, but I would like to see members of the BOD or McGuinn respond on how THEY lost more money in market capitalization than most wars cost the U.S to fight. As Investors we should be demanding accountability. What are they doing to restore growth and profit.

>>> i keep hearing that lu lost it's market share and most likely, it dead money and will be for many many years.<<<<

did LU lose market share by way of losing a customer?
how much % of revenue does this amount to?
also ... does LU pay a quarterly dividend?
thanks, Sue

re: >>>dead money
The market no longer moves in timeframes of years, we are fast paced / both up and down. It has changed drastically, from years to months, during the last 5 years, due to the average person now trading via internet
