Does anyone know what kind of downstream bandwidth one of these GTH Ku band satellites discussed here and elsewhere will provide?

How many transponders are there, and what kind of bandwidth, modulation and useful bitrate on each one? I've seen figures in the 31 mb/sec range for a 33 MHz transponder using QPSK modulation which I think is similar to what DirectTV uses.

I'd like to get a feel for just how many subscribers one could *really* put on each satellite.

Thanks in advance!
