Yes, Bush went on Oprah and gave a short-skipped version about his drinking only.

Questions:

* Did he come clean on drug use, as Gore has done?

* Was his military service affected by his drinking and/or drugs? Was this what caused him to end his career as a pilot, after America paid millions of dollars to train him during a very critical period of The Vietnam War?

* Were drinking and drugs part of the reason why he became a no-show for the last two years of his reserve military service?

* When he was drinking, was he a selfish drunk or a generous drunk, an angry one or a happy one?

* Did he get into bar room brawls?

I credit his reform, but I think it's a story the public should know if they're going to elect him president. Otherwise, questions like those above remain open.
