jf3-it will much harder to know "when " the jig is up for gtw than it was to spot trouble at dell.that is because because it really isnt a pc company anymore but a sub prime consumer finance company with accounting issues.these types of companies ultimately totally evaporate but it takes time.gtw has already hit the wall in terms of pc sales ,as it is subject to the same problems that hurt intc, dell, appl, (will hurt) cpq and all the other companies that touch this industry.it is a saturation issue as much as anything.in any case ,dell is real company with real management (that unfortunately chose propping the stock price for a while vs keeping their credibilty) it will be a winner and at some valuation is worth buying.however, i think that price is lower than here.gtw, oth, imo will be a 2$ stock in a couple years and go the way of AST etc due to the games they are playing.the die is cast but the timing will be far harder to get right.
