hey big i'd be giving you some input too, if only i had some to give! <g3> not an outlook user, here. sorry. but since you mentioned norton.... you said you ran disk doctor. what about windoctor? i'd at least try that. also, in poking around, i came across this... officeupdate.microsoft.com and these... wcupa.edu inclark.clarku.edu butler.org helpdesk.nus.edu.sg maybe in perusing one of the above, you'll come across something that helps. good luck :) mark
