< Take a another look at the GTW CFO .. >

As I stated my problem with GTW is their strategy of humongous expansion of retail outlets in a crowded market during the tail end of the longest expansion in history... I believe we're headed for a recession in otherwords, and believe it could be quite painful persuing this type of expansion.

A side note to the thread: FINOVIA, a Phoenix area commercial lender is in deep doo doo according to the local papers. They've been looking for investors & or buyers and apparently are coming up empty and delayed their earnings announcement till novemeber. The PHX market is historically one of the biggest boom/bust real estate markets in the country.

"Take a another look at the GTW CFO .. look at it this way. He was a slime ball at Boston Chicken... the SEC and DOJ knows it and will scrutinize him and his books even closer - or perhaps he should assume as much. Further, if he does another boneheaded move at GTW it'll be game over for him. So, I would like to postulate that he is being above board because - even if he didn't want to be - he has no choice in the matter. "

Hmm, that kind of makes me wonder why banks aren't beating down the doors to hire convicted embezzlers. Sheesh, using that 'logic', convicted child molesters should be teaching grade school and former drug addicts would make the most honest pharmacists.
