They learned it from Intel. When P4 comes out, Intel will again remember how important MHz is. ;^)

AMD learned about the importance of mhz from Intel when it was important. They learned the lesson way too well.

Intel has finally learned how unimportant mhz is right now. Hence the apparent lack of concern over delays on kazillion mhz chips. If Intel had learned the lesson 6-8 months ago, they could have avoided a lot of pain.
