(tm-CrazyMan)<< Crazy, I agree with you, but I think we are missing one of the main reasons people upgrade anything; the perception that the new will be better than the old. Is a new Chevy that much better than the old. Are Guess jeans really better than Levis. Does a new house function that much better than the old? Quite often the answer is no, but while we don't expect the difference to pay off; it makes us feel better. In fact, the average home loan only goes approximately 6 yrs. I expect PC turnover to stay the same.
