ild, I think Intel will guide lower, but both start and end that guidance with how wonderful orders are for the Xmas quarter, thus muting the benefits of owning puts. My guess is that the time to buy Intel puts will be in late Winter, early spring, when the suckers once more realize that the Xmas quarter: 1. Didn't do very well compared to last Xmas, though it did do well sequentially totally due to seasonals and distributor idiocy. 2. That the Xmas quarter will rob the Spring quarter incredibly this year.
