Rambi, I don't believe many of those people vote. Remember, 50% of the public doesn't vote. So a candidate need only get roughly 25% of the population to support him/her in order to win the election.

Many people don't even know where the voting booth is in their area. We can cry or laugh about that though.

Ignorance of the public. yes I agree, some people should not even vote. many of the undecideds are that way because they either don't know or don't care or they are out on the fringes somewhere and very confused people. the election will be won now depending on how about 5% of really-concerned undecideds vote in the end. maybe even how a few thousand people in New Hampshire or Tennessee vote. Also on how many actually vote for Nader or Buchanon. It's going to be suspenseful as hell and right down to the wire because about equal numbers now are decided. Nader's 4% is enough to give Gore the win. Buchanon is at 1% so far but is funding lots of TV ads this last month of the campaign. Any gaffe, mistake, international event, press story or whatever could turn it. But nomatter what it's going to be no more than a 5% margin of victory, probably less. And probably within 20 electroral votes. Might even be a tie at 270-270 in which case I guess Bush wins as the GOP congress to give it to him. Wow.
