Lewinsky-Dan - Re: "By Q2 next year AMD will be at .15 or .13 SOI at Dresden"

I'll take that bet - what would you like to wager?

Dan, <Why get stuck with a dead end 32bit processor when you can get a 64 bit processor for the same price?>

Maybe because said 64-bit processor needs a 64-bit OS and 64-bit applications in order to take advantage of the x86-64 extensions. So far, only minimal support for x86-64 has been announced, both OS and applications.
