James, I think you might be right. My own bell rang during Wednesday, but Thursday's ME instability kind of "got in the way". One of my signal was the opening TRIN on the naz (at 4.00) rapidly going under 1.00 despite the market apparent wobblines. When that indicator did barely make it past 1.00 on Thursday, despite the ME and the huge declines in the indices, something was telling me that big money was money is going into the winning stocks and not really running out of the market. The VIX rapidly rushing from the low 20 to about 35 was indicative of mass panic as well, everything was falling in place. I would have preferred a real panic and a naz tic of -1300 or worse, but I was satisfied with two consecutive days of the tic going -1200, instead. So, for the time being, I am going to watch and see how this develop, but since a retest is not unusual, I am going to have close stops.
