This is what caught my attention in that Motorola website:

Thanks to the
Motorola Voice Developer Gateway, you can test your cutting-edge, voice-enabled applications and prepare them for market release using your very own system.

Or see a full product demonstration when you visit the Motorola booth at SpeechTEK 2000 November 2-3, Hilton New York & Towers, New York, NY.

Motorola Voice Developer Gateway General expected availability:
November 2000

Expected availability November 2000; this implies revenues to Fonix from the Fonix - Motorola licence deal, right?

The only thing I was saying was that the IP-address 216.217.133.242 doesn't belong to Motorola, but to home.net. I still don't know why Motorola would mention a partnership on a non-Motorola site. The search engines on the Motorola and the MIX web site don't find the word 'fonix'.
But let's hope that these news will be confirmed by Motorola on Monday. Would be great!
