"Manic Momentum?" Huh???

Yes - "Manic Momentum" were the words I wrote - and they were the words I chose to use. While many on this thread can say only wonderful things about Ariba, I believe the company's stock price is priced for perfection at the moment - and I believe it is momentum investing that has driven the price up to 121, giving the company a price/sales of 131. You may disagree. I can see no fundamental, risk-considered, rational justification for ARBA's current price. So I attribute it to "manic momentum" investing - similar to what we've seen with AMZN, PCLN, CMGI, ICGE, INSP, MSTR, etc. in the past.

Thanks,
-Eric
