Hello Mike-- One of the major obstacle with TV channels over copper is that changing channel takes few second, not tolerable in US where most of houses have more then one TV set. In Europe however, it isn't as big problem as in US. I did not mean that carrier like Kingstom are providing TV or Video, which most likely will come first, on full scale. Kingsom and few other operators went well beyond experimental network and are already charging customers for services. Now doubts that for wide deployment we have to wait most likely 12-18 months. The most important is that some vendor( does not exist as independent company) came with very good solution more then 1 1/2 ago and parent company, together with few startups it owns is well ahead of competition I guess the time will show.
