Bush is a natural smoozer. He has a lot of teflon on him and can slide past a lot of things with a good-ole-boy drawl and snicker. I don't care if he was a "hit" or not, did he deal with it or say anything substantive about it? Afterall it's an important problem. And it was a grave problem for him apparently. And for his wife who nearly divorced him because of it.

I'm sure he didn't, but on the other hand Clinton never made sex addiction reform an issue either. The difference though is that alcoholism and coke use affects the brain and kills brain-cells. It can impair one from doing his job so it's a worse problem for a candidate.

On the other hand Bush isn't running against Clinton he's running against Gore, who has never had any such problems.
