Don

a P&F view of the QQQ..

it broke a triple bottom at 87 went to 83..reversed back up to 87, it was repulsed...reversed back down broke that other low of 83, and created a bearish catapult pattern on P&F...it hit 75...

it has now reversed back up again..83 will be 1st R, then "IF" it gets to 87, i'll short it there for damn sure...that would be a double top..

on the daily candle chart the 20 period sma is at 86 1/2 overhead..that will stop this index...

Don,

I started to recheck your dates, and the very 1st 2 you mentioned were not 3-BLACK CROWs on the SPX (5/23 and 4/14).

I will certainly yield to you expertise in this matter, but frankly I don't see a lot of difference between the relative sizes of tails and bodies of the recent SPX candles and some of the others I posted, especially the ones in April 12-14 if you look at only those 3 days. For those of us with less trained eyes, could you give us some guidelines? For example, would you say that of the down candles the body sizes should be the same within X%, and the tails should not be greater than Y% of the day's range?
