AOL inc -10.30 --- That's kinda funny. AOL valuation goes down with the news of the Time Warner merger. Then it goes down again with the news that the Feds may not *allow the merger. <g> -JCJ

Sonki, basically, my estimates as to where the indexes might end up are based on (1) the not so great macro economic conditions in the world, (2) my own appraisal of where fair value might be in a slowing economy, (3) some technical chart analysis and (4) some not so scientific guessing.

I do not have any firm belief of the specific numbers I quoted for the indexes - more importantly, it is my way of saying that we are in very dangerous times in terms of equity values, and we are not likely to be as lucky/fortunate as we have been since the early 90s.
