There are certain goods we import that ease the cost here as labor and space are less costly in certain areas of Asia. You have to create a facility to build the goods that you don't import so you end up with increased costs.
Chances are very slim at this present point here in US that you will see wages decrease .
Would i open a sewing factory here no, the fact there is vast man power I can tap elsewhere for a reduced rate, a greater number of employee for hire would induce me to build outside of here and ship in.
Retail figures aren't showing gorge nor is the food industry showing this.
The cost of importing oil is probably the key. The transactions might be in US dollars but the shipping might just changed the actual price. I am bit short on knowledge here. Anyone know?
