So you Think That Friday's Market was just Adam Smith's Invisible

Are you implying that it was a conspiracy?

When you have talking head after talking head coming on CNBC saying that they were looking for a bottom, so that stocks can go up again, you aren't going to get capitulation. Capitulation occurs when you never want to see another slimey stock again in your life.

Just about everybody wants the game to go on except for the participants on this thread. Even you guys do so you can load up with puts again. This sets up a situation for the kind of explosive upside move like we had Friday. It doesn't take much of an effort to get it going. Everyone is looking at everyone else to see who is going to blink first.

My first indication we were headed up was reading this thread Friday AM and several regulars said they had trouble sleeping. I know from my own experience that when I have trouble sleeping it is because I'm making too much money and I need to take some off the table. Since I usually only buy long, a sleepless night for me has preceded almost every single st market top since 1998.

The market goes up, the market goes down.....reasons are assigned after the fact.
