So far this reporting period, 57% of reports have beaten estimates. 17% have missed. But, what does this mean? Kind of silly to miss. LU advised lowering estimates 4 times and then came in a penny over. The 52-week forward P/E ratio on the S&P 500 is at its lowest level since October 3,1998. According to Bear Stearns, the Nasdaq 100 PE is now @ 70 compared to 113x earnings in March. Sergio
