I know a family whose fairly bright little girl was thrown out of kindergarten....reason....she thought it was ok to sit in the teachers lap while they were in a circle on the floor reading books....the teacher...with 6 weeks experience....won the battle......

So dismantle the Department of Education--another all-time great Republican idea of times past. Doing that would be a great way of dumbing down the folks.
