Ish, I don't understand your argument. Our satellites can easily pinpoint who launched a missile. Any "rogue countries" doing this invite complete annihilation by US retaliation.

The missile defense system pushed by the military and the defense industry will supposedly defend against "rogue countries" attacking the US with a very limited number of missiles. But, as I have argued in my other post, it is infinitely cheaper, and more effective for such rogue countries to simply sail one or more nuclear bombs into any of the numerous US ports and explode it there. Not only will such an attack be impossible to trace to a particular country, but also the nuclear bomb can be of huge megatonnage -- since it won't have to be carried on a missile.

Can you please explain to me how your missile defense system is going to defend against such an attack?

Can you also please explain to me why a small hostile country won't use such an obvious and extremely cheap way to attack the US?

A limited missile defense system will be an enormous waste of money and talent. We might as well flush the money down a toilet. We better open our eyes to the REAL threats out there. It's the rubber rafts full of explosives that we need to worry about.
