SI is not my employer... I do the best that i can. Unlike some, i do not feel the clown thread is my little kingdom to govern. i've got better things to do than read every post and weigh them for substance....

I, for one, appreciate your taking the time to read the threads before making a decision. I was wondering what drew your attention, I assume by your statement that someone complained. My guess is that it wasn't one of the protagonists, it was someone lurking who decided that this was a fine time to cause trouble to a perceived "enemy." Revenge being a dish that is best tasted cold, and all that. I hope that one of the things you weigh is whether the person who complained was a victim of an attack or someone who decided to blow the whistle. The reason being is that the participants in an ongoing argument are aware of the history between the parties in a way that you can never be. In other words, policing SI is an art, not a science. Imperfect, of course, but everything human is imperfect.
